I just saw this yesterday, which means everyone else in the world probably saw it a month or so ago.
Whatevs. It gave me hearty belly laughs, so I’ll pass along the funny.

I saw some photographs of Martin on Anne Good’s blog the other day, and they really made me smile. So, being in the business of good will and all, I’d like to pass the smiles along to you.
Behold, I present Martin… a (female) Labradoodle who’s very good at balancing on things.
Do yourself a favor and check out more on Martin’s flickr.

I saw this around the interwebs in a few places yesterday, including People Pets, and I thought we could probably all use a laugh, it being Friday and all.
Tell me, what in the world did we do with ourselves before the internet existed and we could pass ridiculous videos around the globe? Well, we read a lot more books and were all a good deal more productive, but that’s another topic for another day.
Today, however, I present: a pug singing the “Batman” theme.
Dottie hurt her ear earlier this week, so she’s been sporting the Cone of Shame for the past few days. Is there anything as simultaneously pitiful and hilarious as a dog in a cone? I think not. Maybe Hamlet.
Anyway, here’s a pup facing life in a cone with great aplomb:
I saw Chet Phillips’ Literary Pets on Anne Good’s blog the other day, and I can’t help loving them. I’m a former English teacher (i.e., book/word nerd), so Philips’ illustrations give me a good chuckle.
Below, you’ll surely recognize Virginia Woof, Kurt Vonnemutt, William Shakespaw, and F. Scott Fetchgerald.
I’m wondering if Mr. Phillips takes commissions, so I can get doggie versions of more of my favorites. JK Howling? Dorothy Barker? William Pawkner? Bone Didion? Harper Leash? Elizabeth Barrett Browndog?
OK. I’ll stop.
See more in Chet Phillips’ Etsy shop.

This made the rounds a week or so ago, but I’m still laughing at it.
At a recent Northwest Arkansas Naturals game, a local shelter pup was being featured as the “Adoptable Pet of the Game.” During the game, the pup gets loose, and hilarity ensues… as does pooping.
Zegads! I love it. Dogs represented as fonts… or vice versa.
I found this through daniellexo, who tweeted a link to fineline design. The dog fonts are the brainchild of these folks.
