The pups and I are super stoked to be featured in the Fall 2010 issue of Modern Dog magazine! There’s a little write-up on phetched in the section entitled “Surf: Top Dog Sites.” Super awesome, right? Thanks, Modern Dog!
This is even more exciting than when my vitriolic letter to the editor was published in Vogue (the actual Vogue!). Makes us want to give everybody at Modern Dog a big ol’ slurp on the mouth (which Dottie will freely do to anyone, often in somewhat inappropriate ways).

I was perusing my hearted shops on Etsy this weekend and realized, to my utter surprise and supreme dismay, that I’ve never featured retro-inspired, custom-made Lucky Fiona collars here on phetched. This is completely unacceptable, and I humbly apologize. I’m a dummy.
But seriously, look at these collars. Looky how pretty! Dottie totally needs to rock one of these. She may be dirty, but she’s ALL FASHION.

I haven’t sat down yet and drawn up a formal list of resolutions for 2010. (I’ve never done it before, why start now?) I’ve kind of tossed around some resolution-like thoughts, though, in my head over the past couple of days. I have vowed to myself that I will be patient and let my hair grow out, as much as I may get frustrated at it and want to go all Britney on it in a psychotic rage. I want to turn off the TV and read more, and I want to learn how to cook some new and interesting things, like daikon radishes and homemade veggie burgers.
I’ve also decided to give myself a little weekly break and stop running Sunday posts in 2010. I’m going to devote that time, instead, to sniffin’ out more cool doggie stuff for your amusement, or going on longer walks with my pups, or learning how to cook daikon radishes.

Hey, y’all! We’re heading into the hills – or the mountains, really. Our little family is in the process of moving from Raleigh, NC to beautiful Asheville, NC, so I’ve got to take a little break from sniffin’ out cool doggy stuff so we can get packed, moved, and unpacked.
Phetched will return to daily postings on Monday, December 7th — including a super-sweet grand-relaunching giveaway — so come on back, OK?
Phew! All this fetching is super fun, but tiring, too, so Phetched is taking a much-needed break. It’s just for a couple days, though… we’ll be back bright and early Monday morning.
